Almost FREE BOOKS
Have you been dying to get hold of a math textbook? How about a science book?
Or maybe brush up on American History, and a textbook would fit the bill perfectly.
Well your wait is over. The Broward County School Board is opening the doors
of its
Book Depository to the community.
The textbooks, which will be available free to the public, are older editions
and are no longer being used
by Broward's public school students. The guidelines for the public to peruse
the textbooks are simple.
1) Individuals are limited to two (2) COPIES PER TITLE.
2) Books are available to Broward County residents only. Bring photo I.D.
3) Textbooks are available on a first come, first served basis.
Telephone requests will NOT be accepted.
4) CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE WAREHOUSE
5) Most importantly, books are available for a very small fee.
The depository is open from 8:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. on the following dates.

The depository is located at 3901 NW 10th Ave, Oakland Park.
Directions: 595 East to 95 North to Oakland Park Blvd East to 9th Ave North
(left at 1st light)
then Left at NW 38th St, Then Right at NW 10th ave (first street after RR
tracks)

to Book Repository.
